Anna Camp is seemingly confirming she is dating Jade Whipkey after months of romance rumors. The Pitch Perfect star, 39, was first linked to the musician in October 2021 when the two were seen kissing at a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

Now almost one year later, Anna is putting those rumors to rest, or at least confirming that she is at least in a relationship with someone. Taking to Instagram on Monday, June 27, the actress shared a series of snaps from her time at the 2022 American Idol finale in Los Angeles.

 In one photo, she posed with her former co-star Rebel Wilson. But it was her other picture that had fans talking.
In the photo, Anna sat on someone's lap while they held her in their legs. 

The two were all smiles as they posed for the camera. She captioned the post, "Date night with my favorite person," along with a heart emoji.

 While she didn't tag anyone in the photo, Jade quickly commented, "You look beautiful tonight," with a red heart emoji. Anna responded to him, "Same can be said about you." With a kissy face emoji, basically confirming the two are together.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in October when they were photographed kissing at a Dodgers game. At the time, they were both single. Anna was previously married to soccer player Joe Corona from 2016 to 2019.

 Jade, on the other hand, came out as gay in 2017, telling Billboard that he was in a long-term relationship with a man named Constantine. 

He also revealed that he had recently separated from his partner. "I just got out of a serious relationship of four years," he told the outlet at the time. "It was an amazing relationship.

 It's just that we've been together since we were literally kids. And I just turned 24 and I realized that I didn't want to be 30 and still in the same situation."

After news of Anna's alleged romance with Jade broke, a source told E! News exclusively that the two had actually been friends for years before sparking a romantic relationship. 

"They have a lot of mutual friends in common through the music industry and have known each other for several years," the insider said. "He has always had a crush on her and she on him. 

They were just waiting for the right time and place to explore it. Now that they are both single, they decided why not? They're having fun together and it's very easy."

The source added that Anna's friends are, quote, "so happy" for her. "She is very happy with Jade. Her friends have always known he was a great guy and a good friend to her. 

They love him and are so happy to see her so happy."
Jade also gushed over Anna in an interview with Gay Times in November, calling her an, quote, "amazing woman." He said, "There are some people that just make your life better just by being in it. Amazing woman.

 That's all I'm gonna say about that."
Anna and Jade's outing at the American Idol finale comes a few months after Anna opened up about how she dealt with the backlash she received for unfollowing several of her former Pitch Perfect costars on social media. 

Taking to her Instagram Story in March, she wrote, "For the record, I love my castmates and I truly cherish the friendships that I've made during my time on Pitch Perfect. 

That's where I learned the importance of female friendships and what it means to have sisters." She went on to say that she had to unfollow some of them in order to focus on herself and her own projects.

 "This doesn't mean I don't value our friendship or the memories we've made together. It just means that I'm focusing on myself right now."

All this time, Anna was likely focusing on her relationship with Jade. So fans are probably wondering if we're going to see the couple on the red carpet anytime soon. We'll just have to wait and see.
